Get ready for the first annual "Chasse au Tresor" (scavenger hunt) taking place in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park! Come ride with your friends and test your overall Bike Park knowledge and navigate as a team from clue to clue to solve the final puzzle. This will be a team event as you'll be required to be in a team of either 2 or 4 riders. Make sure that you like riding with your teammates because you'll have to ride together throughout the duration of the event!! Following this event, we will be hosting the après of all après (a tasty turkey diner!) at the Garibaldi Lift Company and the Whistler premiere of a super-secret (and highly anticipated) bike film! And if that weren't enough, two 2011 Bike Park passes will be up for grabs at the awards.

Format

• Team of 2 or 4 riders (no gender or age requirements)

Rules

• Team members must stay together at all times.
• At each location, the teams will be required to keep note of the CLUE to solve the final puzzle.
• Each team will have a plate number to identify them and will have to return their plate at the finish in order to give their final answers.

Entry Fee: (does not include the lift ticket)

• $10/person for the Event only.
• $35/person if you desire to do both the Event, the Tasty Turkey Dinner @ the GLC and the Super Secret Movie premiere.
• $15 lift ticket for the event
• Tickets for the Turkey Dinner and Super Secret Movie Premiere can be bought at the Door at the GLC for $30.
• Note: The same pricing applies for all ages.

Registration:

• Pre-registration at Guest Relation commencing September 28,2010
• Registration on site at the GLC on Oct 9 from 8:30am to 10:30am.
• Mandatory captain's meeting at 11:00 on the GLC patio

Prizing:

• Two 2011 Whistler Mountain Bike Park Season Passes will be drawn (one for the winning teams and one for the rest of the participants)
• Our Bike Park partners will be supporting this event with additional goodies!

Awards:

• All the awards and the après at the GLC (5:30pm*)

Note:

• Due to the nature of the turkey dinner a minimum number is required to make this work. If we can't hit the min, we will not be able to host the dinner and the dinner payment will be refunded.
