Pump Track Challenge Report:

Hello All,
Sunday brought out 23 riders to the Whistler Bike Park Pump Track Challenge. This was an all ages event with riders ranging in age from 7 and up. Riders were given 1.5 hours to ride as many laps as they wanted. Each lap was timed and the goal was to better the fastest time of the day and their own personal best. After the allotted time, 5 bikers had broken the 15 second mark and moved on to the finals. Nick Geddes was holding the fasted time of the day at 14:26 but decided to waive that time and start the finals with fresh times. The finalists were given 10 minutes to post the best time and after 4 runs each we came out with a tie of 14:41 between Dylan Wolsky and Nick Geddes. This Forced a tie breaker in a winner takes all best of 3 runs ultimate final. The fist run went to Dylan but Nick took the next two and the title of Pump Track Champion. Nick also wins entry into the ladders at Crankworx's fist Ultimate Pump Track Challenge.

In other Categories, Addison MacDonald led the Groms (13 and under) with a time of 15:98 and Zander Geddes took top spot in the Juniors (14-17) with a time of 15:11. Also winning a place in Crankworx, top female of the day was Rebecca McQueen with a time of 16:94.
