Hey Park Riders I could not hold back after watching Anthill’s teaser for the new bike movie "Follow Me". If you have not seen it yet then take two minutes and thirty five seconds to do so and come back when you are done…
…Okay now you are also fired up for the pending season and can read on and share my anticipation for longer days, patios, and the weightless sensation of sending it off dirt lips on A-Line and G-Force berms on Crank it Up. My body is caught between two worlds of joy, slashing powder and ripping trails with friends. Even though it is back to a winter vibe in town, the snowpack in the Valley is starting to thin and folks in Pemberton and Squamish have been riding for months. Last fall we put the trails to bed in good shape and will dig them out of their state of hibernation in a matter of weeks. The annual TWSSF is fast approaching which; every year marks the passing of the torch from winter to summer. This year with "Follow Me" being premiered it won't take much to convince the crew to take up shovels the day the festival ends and get to work so we can open up some trails two weeks later. I think spring offers up the best of both worlds, a chance of some late season powder and a fresh stoke for riding bikes that have been hung on the wall for long enough to heal old wounds. I will see you in the lineup one way or the other!
