Thank you to each and every rider who came to the park this season whether you were a first time DH rider timidly making your way down Easy Does It or a pass holding regular tearing up A-Line for the 100th time in a week. We had a great season with the return of some classic Garbanzo single track on No Joke as well as the addition of new trail segments on Freight Train, New Joke, Ninja Cougar and Samurai Pizza Cat.
The summer events went off with the Boneyard Air Affair, NSMB Air Prentice, Crankworx and Harvest Huckfest all providing inspiration and eye candy for the magazines which we will be reading for the next six months until the park opens. Thanks to Seb and his crew for these world class bike races as well as the Phat Wednesday series, the park just would not be same without them.
Thank you to the Trail Crew for their phenomenal efforts to build new trails, maintain miles and miles of old ones and help Cowan get the Boneyard built (and taken down). The Bike Patrol are already heroes but deserve our thanks for always being there to pick up all of our broken bones and bikes. Thanks to the Bike Guides for introducing countless new riders to what the rest of us already know is the best thing to do in Whistler with your clothes on.
If you ski and ride then we will see you in the lineup in just a few weeks, if you don't then we will see you back at the bottom of Fitz in twenty eight weeks...but who's counting?
